- Lemon juice — juice of 1 lemon1 ½ oz
- Sugar — 2 tbsp caster sugar2 Tbsp
- Mixed spice1 tsp

Batching tip: mix everything except ice and sparkling mixers up to a few hours ahead and keep it chilled. Pour over fresh ice to serve. Add the bubbly part right before serving so it stays fizzy.
How to make it
- 1
Add the sliced pears and lemon slices to a large jug or punch bowl with the sugar, mixed spice and lemon juice. Stir and leave a few minutes.
- 2
Pour in the white grape juice and stir.
- 3
Add plenty of ice, then top with the ginger ale and sparkling water.
- 4
Scatter over pomegranate seeds and add sprigs of rosemary.
Swap it: Make it boozy: add 100 to 150 ml of rum, vodka or gin to the jug. Party tip: freeze fruit, cranberries or juice into ice cubes ahead of time so the punch stays cold without watering down.
