Vampire's Kiss
A blood-red Halloween martini: vodka and black raspberry liqueur shaken with tart cranberry, lemon and a touch of grenadine, served in a glass with a red-dripped sugar rim. Fruity, dramatic and dangerously easy to sip.

Ingredients
Amounts below make 1 serving.
- Vodka1 ½ oz
- Raspberry liqueur — such as Chambord1 oz
- Cranberry juice — 100% unsweetened, not cranberry cocktail½ oz
- Lemon juice½ oz
- Grenadine½ oz
- Sugar — plus extra grenadine, for the rimoptional1 pinch
Garnish: Grenadine-sugar rim (optional)
How to make it

For the rim (optional): pour a little grenadine onto one plate and sugar onto another. Roll the rim of a martini glass in the grenadine, then dip it in the sugar.

Add vodka, raspberry liqueur, cranberry juice, lemon juice and grenadine to a shaker with ice.

Shake hard until well chilled, about 15 seconds.

Strain into the prepared glass.
Swap it: Only have sweetened cranberry juice cocktail? Use it and skip the grenadine. Want a smoky effect? A small chunk of food-grade dry ice can be added with tongs — never swallow it, and wait until it has completely dissolved (about 5 minutes) before drinking.
