Coquito
Puerto Rico's holiday coconut drink: cream of coconut, three kinds of milk and rum blended smooth and spiced with cinnamon and nutmeg. It keeps for weeks in the fridge, which is why people make it by the bottle.

Garnish: Cinnamon stick (1)
Batching tip: mix everything except ice up to a few hours ahead and keep it chilled. Pour over fresh ice to serve.
How to make it
- 1
Add the cream of coconut, condensed milk, coconut milk, evaporated milk, rum, cinnamon, vanilla, nutmeg and salt to a blender.
- 2
Blend for 30 seconds.
- 3
Pour into bottles or a pitcher and chill for at least 1 hour.
- 4
Stir or shake before serving and pour into small glasses, with a cinnamon stick in each.
Swap it: Cream of coconut (sweetened, like Coco López) is not the same as coconut cream or coconut milk. Make it alcohol-free by leaving out the rum.
